IAN WALKER Ian has over twenty - five years of pipeline and oilfield construction experience with Blair Nelson Enterprises Ltd. He was initially hired as laborer in 1977, and then trained to operate various types of equipment from 1979 through 1980 when he was promoted to crew foreman. He is experienced in all aspects of pipeline and oilfield construction practices from right-of-way preparation to final project clean-up. Ian has participated in pipeline installations up to 12” diameter pipe under varying terrain and conditions. He is also well versed in oil and gas facility installation including separation, compression and metering. Since 1984, Ian has been managing projects for Blair Nelson Enterprises Ltd. as Superintendent. He has supervised the construction and installation of several hundred miles of pipelines from 2” up to 8” including internally coated, insulated pipe, and .125 WT to XXXH pipe, as well as fiberglass. Other installations include rivers, creeks, and roads. Mr. Walker is also totally familiar with the installation of line heaters, dehydrators, separators, and compressors. |
